The Spruce Row Retreat helped shape what Cops and Campers has become today. Set in the beautiful Finger Lakes region of New York, the weekend brought together first responders, veterans, and their families to slow down, reconnect, and simply enjoy being together.
Days were filled with live music, arts and crafts, campfires, coffee, cornhole, shared meals, and conversations that often lasted well into the evening. There was no agenda to impress anyone—just a welcoming atmosphere where friendships were built and people could relax around others who understood the challenges of service.
The success of this retreat reinforced our belief that healing often begins with community, laughter, and time spent outdoors.
